Anyway it is a silly quote… just a romantic musing. There are no times of non-change. The notion of learners is unclear… because if learners require teachers then we’re screwed. Perhaps ’self-directed’. But then again, if they are learners they woud eschew inheriting anything, because what learner wants the baggage of the past. Finally, the world exists in the past, not in the future so the learned are in fact equipped to deal with the world that does exist, just not the world that will exist in a moment from now. Yes, an all around silly quote.
