AoIR. I've been watching various blogs of folks preparing for their trips to Toronto for next week's AoIR. its that time of year, i like it, i can see my friends that i talk to on email. Though inarguably i will miss charlie, though i'll see him in november:) I'll see others and create my usual 'motes of interest and trouble' which is well…. just one of those things.

So i have all my lunches free right now, but many of my dinners are taken up with other business:( I also have some free time here and there, I haven't begun to really look at which panels i want to go to most days, but I'll definitely be going to quite a few panels.

who pays, who gets excluded because of that. in fact the most of the time it is just a new version of the same old systematic exclusion of people, in this case medical researchers, and the politics surrounding that can be extraordinarily problematic.
