This could be interesting. the technology sounds fun, but we know the speed of the processor isn't currently the major problem with servers. The storage and bus are the slow points.

I want a coffee robot, but i realize that it would impinge upon the local coffee economy by sending the money that i spend daily getting my cupajoe off to the manufacturer of coffee robots, so I'll spend the money locally.

Wow, weird link. I found this picture of a coffee robot when I did the search on “Danger Will Robinson” and it's so nifty. Can you imagine having a coffee robot that makes coffee and keeps you out of danger and walks into your bedroom in the morning with a head full of coffee and wakes you up softly, stroking your cheek with five delicate tin fingers … that's the life.
