DVT. Instead of preparing course guides and reading dossiers I'm blogging! But the recent quietness here was a coincidence of school holidays with my children, returning from a very very quick trip to Switzerland, and managing to get Deep Vein Thrombosis on the return flight, specifically London to Singapore. Now it turns out that DVT can be life threatening, so when I presented myself to the doctor a day and a half after the flight with some of the symptoms I was sent off to hospital immediately. because since the reagan era, the 'lifers' have been granted control of the language and rhetoric around birth control, they have won the hearts and minds of physicians and pharmacists, now…. the pill is 'chemical abortion', and women are being denied access based on doctors or pharmacists personal beliefs.
i have to wonder, whose life they think they care for? i would think the living, breathing, talking woman's life is the priority, but apparently that battle is lost too, now it is the just fertilized egg, which they claim is alive…..
