one of my favorite authors, thinkers, arguers…. there are very few authors whose death ultimately changes the world, i think hst is one of those authors. his life and writing were highly symbolic, at once embodying the american values and exploding them in a hyperbolic surreality that leant them new meaning. this is a sad day for humankind, we’ve lost dr. gonzo.
