AoIR. I've been watching various blogs of folks preparing for their trips to Toronto for next week's AoIR. I'm headed there, myself, though sadly not giving a paper; at the time the CFP went out, I was committed to an ASA panel (ASA being, of course, the same weekend), but then,… [Planned Obsolescence]

its that time of year, i like it, i can see my friends that i talk to on email. Though inarguably i will miss charlie, though i'll see him in november:) I'll see others and create my usual 'motes of interest and trouble' which is well…. just one of those things.

So i have all my lunches free right now, but many of my dinners are taken up with other business:( I also have some free time here and there, I haven't begun to really look at which panels i want to go to most days, but I'll definitely be going to quite a few panels.
