Project Gutenberg Publishes 10,000th Free eBook [Slashdot] I interviewed the guy who set this up for a long feature story for New Scientist back in 2001 (I filed the story on September 10… thereby ensuring that the story got bumped as a cover story, which it was supposed to have been.
