With the term “T4″…
this video reminded me that I need to get my taxes done. (soft, yet urgent piano refrain in the background.)
With all that talk about cell phones…
it reminded me to take mine out of my purse and plug it in.
And finally…
this video…
annoyed me with its dedication to the concept of “digital natives” as somehow significantly different than the rest of us…
as if those of us born in the 70s didn’t grow up glued to the tv and the phone (wired though it was into the wall)…
and the presumption that the teaching they are criticising in this video actually worked for someone at some point…
as if baby boomers and gen Xers didn’t have anything to contribute in their lives, didn’t re-mix and share content… (rising piano cresendo)
as if it wasn’t those generations who came up with the technology this video is so excited about!
